These unique portrait sessions give me the chance to hang out with you and and your fiancé before the wedding. My approach is very loose and usually involves some hugging, a few piggy-back rides and a dash of legal trespassing, just enough to get the blood flowing. All of my wedding collections include a complimentary e-session, so make sure to take advantage it. I’d love to talk about setting up your e-session, just drop me a note using the form below.
How far before our wedding date should we take our engagement photos?
It depends. If you are planning on using your photos for save-the-date cards or wedding invitations, you should plan on scheduling the session at least 6-9 months before the wedding. If you want to order a custom guestbook with your engagement photos, you should take your photos at least 2 months before the wedding.
We have no clue on the location for our e-session. Where do people usually take their portraits?
I suggest you brainstorm with your fiancé and list some locations that are very personal to both of you. It might be where you first met, somewhere you guys like to hang out, or some place out of town where you guys love to visit. If all else fails, just ask me, I always have a cool location in mind that I want to try out.
How much should we plan on spending for our engagement session?
All of my wedding collections include a complimentary engagement session, so if you are still looking for a photographer for your wedding, you might want to first inquire about having me shoot your wedding. If you are interested in booking me solely for your engagement portraits, you should plan on investing $500 for the session fee. Prints and albums are sold separately.
