Family & Children’s Portraits
My most favorite family photographs are the ones where I can feel the personalities jumping off the page. My goal for all my portrait sessions is to capture these kinds of images. I photograph children of all ages, families of all sizes, and offer different versions of my family sessions. A Basic Family Session lasts about an hour and will give you lots of variety and location options. Shorter sessions are available during my Portrait Events for people like me that can’t stay still for more than 15 minutes. Last, but not least, there is the Family Time Session — an extended session that captures a big part of your day loaded with fun activities and unique moments.
How much should we plan on spending for our family portraits?
Depending on how much time you would like to take during your session, you can plan on investing either $50 for a Mini-Session during one of my Portrait Events, or $250 for a Basic Session. Prints and albums are sold separately. The Family Time Session is $650 and includes a coffee table album.
Which session is right for my family?
That depends on what you want to get out of your portrait session. If you would only like a handful of images to print, then I would suggest a Mini-Session. These sessions are 15 minutes long, perfectly suited to get enough images for a few wall prints or an album. Mini-Sessions are available only during one of my Portrait Events. If you would like to have more time to take your portraits or if you would like to use more than one location (including your home), I would consider a Basic Session. These private sessions last for about an hour, which gives us plenty of time to hang out at your home or visit an outdoor location.
Then there is the Family Time Session. This is an extended session where I get to hang out with your family for a good part of the day. You can plan a handful of activities (zoo trip, miniature golf, private helicopter ride, etc.) The possibilities are endless. Your Family Time Session includes a proof book with all your images, so you can relive your day through photos.
We don’t live in Fresno, but we would still love for you to take portraits of our family. Is that something you do?
Yes, definitely. I often travel for weddings, so you might want to check with me if I will be in your area anytime soon. If all the stars line up, we can hook up for a family portrait session in your city. If you can’t wait, we can schedule a time for me to travel to you and take your portraits. Just contact me and we’ll go through all the details.
Do you offer the digital files of the images from my portrait session?
Yes, I do. You can either purchase individual image files or purchase one of my print collections that already include the digital files.
