fort washington country club wedding

We started off this wedding right, both the guys and girls got prepared by putting paint on their faces. We'll the guys had a different idea of makeup, theirs came in the form of paintballs! I loved the way we ended the night as well. The last shot of Kacie is my favorite, in true rockstar form: a glass of bubbly on one hand, guitar on the other, and rocking the shades in the dark.

I came home with a sockful of stickers after this shoot. It was well worth it, I think after getting some nice frames for Sarah's senior portraits. Check em out!

I'm still alive, thanks to all 2 of you that emailed me after I hadn't blogged for 6 days. Anyways, more senior stuff to share with ya'll. Here is Kacey... after the summer, she'll be off to college. I feel for all the parents out there at this time, it must be tough to see your babies go off and be independent (well, at least until they run out of money). Aight, more to share later! Peace!

The moment you see KFC when you step in the hotel room while the bride is getting ready, you know automatically it's gonna be a good wedding LOL (see the first shot of the slideshow and you'll get what I mean). Mirella and Israel had such a colorful set of characters in their wedding, it was hard not to smile all day, lots of funny moments and tearful moments. I was so glad that Mirella decided to stop by her parents house before going to the church for the ceremony. The moment her dad saw her for the first time walking through the front door with her wedding dress, it still melts my heart when I look at it. Enjoy, my friends, and see you when you get back from Mexico!

I got to chat with Alex and his dad a little bit during the shoot and learned that Alex is gonna study cognative science in college. As soon as I heard that, I was this close to continuing the conversation pretending that I knew what he was talking about, (cuz I'm a big smile-and-nod kind of guy) but I thought to myself that it was gonna be hard to fake that, so I just said, "what's that?" Good move on my part, I think.
