fresno family portraits

Hi ya'll... I just came back from a whirlwind of a weekend. I met up with 6 families last Saturday for one of my Family Portrait Events. Some of them were old friends and some are new ones, and some were old friends that brought new ones :).It's quite tough to shoot within only 15 minutes but we managed to pull out some fun photos for these families. It was a team effort for sure. There was a track meet at Woodward Park that day so I got a bonus challenge of making sure none of the runners showed up in the background, that was quite a funny task in itself. If you missed out on this event, there's one more chance this Fall, I have one last event in 2 weeks and I have one more spot available. You can get more info and sign up here.

I stopped by one of my photo buddy's house to hang out, check out their new crib and to meet the rest of the family, finally :) Oh yah, we took afew photos while we were at it. I've been seeing Mark's mug for too long without meeting his better half and his little mini-me. If you don't know who Mark is, you've probably been living in a cave LOL, he's one of Fresno's top wedding photographers, even Google thinks so ;) So there, Mark, now you really owe me a milkshake, a nice big one.

Nadia, I know you've been waiting patiently for this, so here's a sneak peek at your precious, little 3-month old.

Wanted to share a funny moment I had with myself when I shot Roslyn & Robert's wedding a while back... so here I am shooting Robert while he is waiting for primetime, then I see Craig Kohlruss' name on the church bulletin board. His work is published at the Bee all the time, but it was funny to see a buddy's name up in lights, even if it's at 6 point, helvetica, at least it's in bold LOL. Check out his new blog, he's finally got one, what's next Craig, a cell phone?

Claudia's family is from Chile so it was nice to see some South American flavor sprinkled here and there throughout their wedding, from Claudia's flamenco-esque red shoes, down to the traditional Chilean dance that her parents performed during the reception. Thanks for having me there guys, I wish I were in your shoes right now, exploring South America for your honeymoon, see you both soon!
