Last week, the Friginal clan was blessed with our fourth child, Zion Journey. She is beautiful, just like her mother and two sisters, and her big brother is in love with her, he calls her Baby Zion. I took a little bit of January and most of February off, so I can help at home a little more as we prepared for Zion to arrive, and I thought it would be fun to document the days leading up to her birth.
I wanted to share some of my favorite images here on the blog, but to make it more fun and a little challenging, I limited myself to only 14 images from the 2 weeks before Zion was born, and only 7 images from her birthday to our first couple of days back home. It was pretty tough to narrow down the photos, knowing that I took almost four thousand images in a span of a month, and after going through the images, there was definitely a sense of waiting, hence the title of my slideshow.
So, what do you do when you can’t really travel far from home and you have some time in your hands with the kiddos? There are images of the children in their PJ’s after waking up, watching old baby videos, my dad-in-law helping get Zion’s room ready, playing in the backyard, breakfast at Uncle Harry’s, a picnic at the park, enjoying the weather, getting a carwash, and bathtime.
We are truly blessed by our Heavely Father, all praise is due to Him, and I am so happy to be able to share these images with you.
